Rutter 'Gloria'

Here's me in conducting class doing my evaluation for John Rutter's "Gloria," movement 3 (watch it here). I won't tell you all the things I think are wrong with it. Note the stealthy segues from 4/4 to 3/8 and 5/8, not to mention the sneaky 3/4 bar in the middle of many measures of 4/4.

Also note that I am the only Soprano in the class (and the only female student), so whenever I get up to conduct there is no melody. Enjoy my classmate Elias going for the high note.

That's my awesome teacher Dr. Elrod who comes and sits down partway through. :)

Lots to learn, but it's a lot of fun!
